Established in 1983, Metrofile was the first company in South Africa to provide businesses and organisations the opportunity to outsource the storage of their records and documents. Today the company is southern Africa’s market leader in  information and records management offering customers a full outsourced service that ranges  from the most basic need for the offsite storage of documents to onsite file management, image processing, back-up management, paper management and information solutions that include consultancy and software. Additional services include records management training (Metrofile Training Academy) and the supply and maintenance of imaging and document handling equipment (CSX).

The company’s vision is to be the customer’s trusted information management partner. Metrofile provides its customers with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their records and iinformation is secure and readily accessible. This enables them to make informed decisions and to act with integrity and confidence. Through this, the customers are able to focus on their core business and to do what they need to do to achieve success. Metrofile is built on three promises:
  • Commitment – dedicated to servicing the needs of customers
  • Integrity – acting in the best interests of communities and the environment
  • Reliability – delivering on the company promise
