August is the month that traditionally focuses on the achievements and success of women. However, Top Women in Business & Government celebrates and supports gender empowerment not only during this prestigious month but also throughout the year. Top Women in Business & Government does this through our annual publication packed with success stories, information and support services. We also host a Dinner Debate where topical issues are discussed and then end the year in style with our lavish Gala Awards Evening at which we award top individuals and organisations who foster the value of gender empowerment.

  Dinner Debate

On 24 June 2009, TWBG hosted yet another exclusive Dinner Debate at the Wits Business School in Johannesburg with a selected few top women in business and government. This elite group was treated to a lavish setting, a scrumptious dinner, great conversation and breathtaking gifts offered by our sponsors.

The event achieved its aim of congratulating and celebrating the women who set South Africa apart from the rest, by embracing their true nature and making their mark in business. Also discussed was how to address challenges and find new ways to make a meaningful contribution to business, society and the economy.
