16 Top tips for a winning entry form

  1. One sure-fire way of getting noticed for the Oliver Empowerment Awards is a really good, well-completed entry form.
  2. Look at the criteria on the entry form and make sure you fit all the criteria for the Award.
  3. All category tick boxes must be ticked for the category or categories you wish to enter.
  4. Make sure you take your time over your entry form and double check that all the contact details are correct.
  5. Please keep information brief and readily understood.
  6. Motivations should not to exceed 1000 words
  7. A separate, relevant motivation should be completed for each category entered.
  8. Entry forms that include answers that are much less than the word limit are very unlikely to be considered.
  9. If there is missing info or lack of information for the entry form and motivation, you will be contacted immediately with a written request to complete the documents.
  10. Please ensure not to use press releases, news articles or testimonials as a motivation.
  11. Supporting documentation that is not accompanied by a motivation will not be read.
  12. Stick to the point and avoid waffle.
  13. Entry forms will not be considered if they are not complete.
  14. An entry form is only seen as complete if all the questions have been answered, the motivation has been submitted and the entry form has been signed.
  15. Entry forms may be faxed, couriered or e-mailed.
  16. A confirmation letter will follow 48hrs after receiving entry form.
