Awards Overview
The Oliver Empowerment Awards are SA’s most influential awards recognising leadership and innovation in empowerment. The Awards are now in their 11th year and have become hugely prestigious and are considered the ultimate accolade by winning companies for their transformation activity.
Rigorously assessed and independently assured, they provide recognition for companies that are integrating empowering business practice and delivering positive impacts in the marketplace, in the workplace and in the community.
The Awards, with official media partners - Impumelelo and Business Report, are the primary means by which the Oliver Empowerment Awards identifies, celebrates and disseminates good practice and communicates the positive impact on business and society.
We use them to:
- Inspire companies to get involved or to do more in transformation
- Engage companies in our campaigns
- Support and challenge companies to benchmark and improve their performance
We will be hosting our annual celebratory Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 03 May 2012 in the heartbeat of business in Africa, Sandton Convention Centre. This black tie occasion will be an opportunity to recognise, reward and celebrate the impact businesses from across this region are having in Transformation, as well as a chance to showcase examples of excellence; share best practice and network with others.
