The campaigns for each publication and event run both Above- and Below-the-Line, the goal of which is to:

  • Build the brand of the product, and to promote the brands of all participants;

The Company runs comprehensive and integrated commmunications campaign for all projects, and the associated marketing and publicity activities consist of a mixed programme of advertising and promotions.

Advertising Campaigns

These include advertising in print media aimed at a particular project’s specific target audience and are run in daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, and financial and business publications. Promotional activities are used to complement these advertising campaigns. These activities:

  • Ensure the maximum exposure for the project and all affiliated parties
  • Ensure the maximum benefits for the project and all affiliated parties
  • Ensure that the right target audience is reached
  • Contributes to the profile of the Company brand, ensuring continuation and cohesiveness

The Internet serves as a primary advertising and promotions vehicle and has proven its success as a marketing tool for Top Companies Publishing and Events. The Company enlists the use of email newsletters, online advertising and various other online tools to publicise its products and events.

The Company houses a Press Office on Bizcommunity.com, SA’s daily news service for the Creative Industries including film, media, marketing, advertising, branding, design, communications and research. At September 2005, Bizcommunity.com had 42 000 Requested Subscribers for its daily electronic newsletter through which our press releases are sent. View Press Office

Direct Marketing

Direct marketing is continuously and consistently practiced as our in-house sales staff interact daily with South Africa’s leaders and DECISION-MAKERS (over 10 000 annually) in business across a range of industrial sectors in an effort to garner support for the Company’s products. Our direct marketing also includes email, printed brochure and publicity campaigns.
